In March I was approached by Michael John Sullivan to do an interview for his podcast channel:
Host Michael John Sullivan interviews beloved children’s book authors who sometimes read from their favorite childhood books. This podcast is perfect for parents, kids, grandparents, and authors.
My first thought… NOPE. That sounds SCARY.
BUT, I am always telling my girls that we LEARN and GROW by doing things that are SCARY.
So, here it is:
Michael made the interview super comfortable and he was kind to accommodate a 6 am time slot, so we could talk while my house was still quiet.
You can check out some of his other MAGICAL BOOKS FOR KIDS podcast episodes at this link:
I loved the one with Laura Numeroff, author of the IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE series.
My “mom advice” was spot-on here. It was WORTH the NERVES because I GREW through this experience. If I have the opportunity again, I will know more what to expect.
And ANY DAY I am able to talk PICTURE BOOKS with another picture book enthusiast, is a GOOD DAY.
